REMEMBER -INSURE YOUR SIGNS:
Many package insurance policies that include property (buildings, business personal property) provide a limited amount of sign coverage automatically. If your sign is “attached” to a building then it is normally insured as part of the building limit. If you lease and don’t insure the building or your sign is separate and “detached” then you may need to “schedule” the sign to have it covered. Make sure you contact your insurance agent to verify and secure the correct coverage and limits for your signs. (By: John B. Sullivan, CIC, AMERICAN INSURANCE, 208-746-9646)
